2009 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

WINEMAKER'S NOTES

This wine displays characteristics typical of a blend that the region is well renowned for. A lifted aroma is accompanied by a fruit driven palate that is crisp, clean and refreshing and ever so slightly textured. Premium Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grapes from our Margaret River vineyards, were harvested cool and processed carefully to ensure flavour and aroma retention. Bottling and release without delay ensures the wine is enjoyed whilst it fresh and vibrant.

TASTING NOTES

Colour: Pale green straw

Aroma: Lifted, zingy and aromatic with fresh asparagus and hints of lime.

Palate: Fresh, clean and vibrant with tremendous initial lift of citrus and melon fruits and a long, persistent finish. A small addition of Chardonnay has added some soft body and texture in the middle palate, perfectly balancing the tight and racy Semillon that runs through the wine.
