Colour: Deep purple red with a dark-cherry core in the glass.
Aroma: Ripe plums with mocha fruits layered over fine vanillin oak.
Palate: Ripe and generous flavours of rich plum and spices lead to a fine mouth -filling middle palate with fine grained tannins to finish.
Food matching: Aged cheddars, stronger cuts of meat, game.
Cellaring: Enjoy now or cellar for 3 to 5 years for a full expression of the wine.

TECHNICAL NOTES
Region: Margaret River
Vintage notes: An excellent red vintage in Margaret River with a warm spring, moderate summer and fine sunny autumn brought reds across the district to perfect maturity.
Composition: 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot
Winemaking: All grapes were harvested at optimum maturity and each parcel was fermented and assessed separately, selected for oak maturation and matured in a mixture of French and American oak barriques for 12 months. The final blend was bottled and left to mature for three months prior to release.
